New Snoopy Movie

A little something for everyone who is looking forward to the new upcoming Snoopy Movie (rumor has it that it will be in theaters this November, 2015). I felt like it was appropriate to add Snoopette because my dad helped to train the WASP's during WWII. #DrawSnoopy

Atelier Interactive Acrylics & 4th of July

I got a sample of Chroma Atelier Interactive Acrylics about a week ago and got a chance to try them out yesterday. I struggle with acrylics because my first medium of choice is watercolor. I wanted to see what I could do with these since they stay wet longer than regular acrylics. Although I still struggle with the drying time on acrylics, I found that I liked working with these. One of the things that I had to battle with before was the limited palette that I had in interactive acrylics - red, white & blue only. This sample included some Unlocking Formula that I tried with my regular yellow acrylic. I still need to practice more with these in order to get really comfortable with them, but for now, this is what I accomplished.

Father and Son

Brush and Ink Wash

You have to see Father and Son on Craftsy. Craftsy has a class that I am taking now that involves pen and ink studies. I needed to do a wash with brush and ink, so with Father's Day coming up, I decided to try a pen and ink study to give to my son.
