Christmas is over, and the New Year is not far away. During this time of Covid-19, I have been filling my time up consumed by art videos, also, drawing, and painting anything that can’t escape from my sight.
This drawing (which has an unprofessional shadow in the left-hand corner because I took it with my I-Phone) started off with just a simple green and red frame. Then problem one presented itself. I got water droplets on the right-hand side of the frame that partially melted what I had previously thought was waterproof ink.
That is why I have my holly decorations slightly dropped down from the center on the right and left outside edges. This is in a watercolor sketchbook, and I had intended on mixing watercolor with permanent ink. Instead, I mixed watercolor with water-soluble ink.
